Arthritis - Rheumatoid

Arthritis - Rheumatoid: Found in the muscles & ligaments of the body. Usually caused by a lack of potassium and/or sodium. Pains on the left side of the body are caused by a lack of Sodium. Pains on the right side would indicate a lack of Potassium.
Nicotine and niacin are opposite molecules and Nicotine replaces Niacin in the body. This can cause food allergies to "nightshade vegetables" (potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, etc.) The allergies to these foods can often cause arthritis or aggravate existing arthritis. The correction for this allergy is Niacin, which is best absorbed by taking Royal Jelly. 100 mg. capsule. Mineral correction is Phosphorus. Amino Acid correction is L'Glutamine. Also, if you find yourself grouchy, you should check your Niacin level.

Testing for Niacin as cause:
Hold one ormore Niacin pills in the right hand on the solar plexus and extend the opposite arm to be pumped. Another person should pump the outstretched arm. If the arm goes down whe pumped, it could mean that the amount of niacin in the right hand is either too much or too little.
Niacin (B3) is more effective when taken with Vitamin B-Complex, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin C.

Testing for Potassium as cause: The potassium acupunture point is the oint 1/2 inch behind the hollow in the right cheek where the jaw bone starts to connect. Place your middle finger in the hollow of the cheek, and where your index finger falls, is where the point is.

Corrections for Potassium: Bee Pollen & Alfalfa are best sources. Alfalfa is probably the best to use since it contains the perfectly balanced ratio of potassium to sodium.

Testing for Sodium as cause: Same as potassium except LEFT side of face.

Corrections for Sodium: Please note, this is not table salt. This is organic sodium such as found in vegetables (celery, spinach). Good supplements include Spirulina, Kelp, Dulse, Celery, Olives, Irish Moss. Sodium is more effective when taken with Vitamin D, Potassium. It is diminished by lack of potassium, lack of chlorine.

Other Considerations: One causation of Rheumatoid Arthritis is sometimes heavy metals or impurities in the muscle tissues caused by Toxemia. The way to excrete these would be through anti-oxygen agents such as Superoxide Dismutase, the herb Devil's Claw, and amino acid Lmethionine. One of the best pain killers would be an herb called White Willow or the amino acid DL-phenylalanine. When people start to get arthritic hands, it usually is not the bones, but the connective tissue. The connective tissue starts to get rigid and stiff becasue of a lack of L-Proline, Manganese, and Vitamin C. By administering these, the hands will loosen. If they remain stiff after several weeks, it may mean that they also need Magnesium which melts the bone spurs that may be connecting the joints.

Magnesium Correction: Black Walnut & Kelp
Manganese Source: Wheat Germ, Nuts, Egg Yolk, Sunflower Seeds
L-Proline Source: Beets

Asthma

Asthma:
Multi allergies complicated by trauma or stress. Trauma or stress deplete the adrenal glands of Pantothenic Acid and possibly potassium and sodium which are the vitamins and minerals which feed the adrenal glands. Outside of stress & trauma, a malfunctioning pituitary gland can cause asthma.

Testing for Allergies as cause:
And Corrections:
Muscle test for all antagonists and the nutrients/supplements to correct them. Use the adrenal point in the body for these tests.

Testing for Glands as cause:
Place a finger on each side of the nose, on the maxillary sinuses below the eye (maxillary sinuses are controlled by the adrenals.) If weak, then adrenals are the problem. With the same 2 fingers, touch above the eyebrows on each side (frontal sinuses controlled by pituitary gland). If weak, then pituitary gland is malfunctioning.

Corrections for Glands:
Adrenal:
The adrenal cortex can be corrected by administration of the Adrenal Glandulars, Pantothenic Acid, the proper balance of Sodium & Potassium, and also with herbs.
Licorice Root: Good for the adrenals but should not be given to people with high blood sugar. If blood sugar is low, can be given.
Wild Yam: Another adrenal gland stimulator, but can raise blood sugar, so should not be used by diabetics.

Pituitary:
Can be stimulated by Alphalpha, Pituitary Glandulars, L-Ornithine, Vitamin B-6, herb Gota Kola and Vitamin E. These products should be used with other nutrients that are needed for the entire system.

Emotions:
The biggest problem with asthmatics is fear. The body can live without food for 40 days, without water for 6 days, but cannot survive without oxygen for only six minutes. Do not remove client's medication too quickly, as the medicine is emotional support. As the body improves, it must be impressed upon client that healing isn't impossible.

Other Considerations:
Blue Vervain can help alleviate astham, bronchitis, and other upper respiatory inflammation whichwould be aggravated by nervousness. (take at evening)
Marshmallow removes mucous from the lung. Also helpful for emphysema, Whooping Cough (take throughout the day)
Slippery Elm has been used for treating asthma. (take morning to evening at meals)
Violet helpful with asthma, bronchitis, difficult breathing, whooping cough, head cold, sinus congestion, sore throat.
Cell Salt Sodium Sulphate for Humid Asthma
Cell Salt Tartrate of Atimony: Profound effect on respiratory organs and mucous membranes. Given promptly will abort asthma attack, and is excellent for bronchitis, colds, coughs, and nasal cararrh.

Essential Oils:
Essential oils should not be inhaled for asthma. They should be applied to the bottom of the feet or ingested if they are GRAS.
Single Oils: Ravansara, Roman chamomile, Eucalpytus Polybractea, Eucalyptus Radiata, Idaho balsam fir, spruce, pine, myrtle, peppermint, thyme, lemon, lavender, juniper, frankencense, marjoram, rose, mountain savory.
Blends: Melrose, Di_Gize, Purification, Thieves, Raven, R.C., Inspiration, Sacred Mountain
EO Applications:
Topical: Neat, 2-4 drops on soles of feet, 2-3 times daily.
Ingestion: Capsule, 00 size, 2 times daily.
Dietary: VitaGreen, ImmuneTune, Ultra Young, Essentialzyme, Carbozyme.

Window Cleaner

1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 teaspoon liquid soap or detergent,
2 cups of water in a spray bottle. Shake to blend.

OR

Equal parts vinegar and water in a spray bottle.
Or, 1/2 lemon juice and 2 cups water in a spray bottle

Here's the skinny on homemade window cleaner. You may find that even straight vinegar is leaving streaks on your windows. Here's why: some commercial products contain wax. After years of use, they leave a wax buildup and vinegar alone wouldn’t do the job of removing the residue. Adding dab of dish soap to the vinegar and water will remove the buildup. I love Seventh Generation dish soap. You can get a free & clear version.

Commercial Window Cleaner Toxicity:
Most commercial window cleaners contain ammonia. Ammonia fumes can also react with nitrates in the environment to form ammonium nitrate particles, which can linger in the home in dust, carpets, curtains and upholstery. It is extremely toxic when inhaled in concentrated vapors and repeated exposure may lead to bronchitis and pneumonia. It can cause chemical burns, cataracts and corneal damage, and has been shown to produce skin cancer. Disruptions to the ecosystem can result, with toxic effects to plants, animals and fish. The EPA lists ammonia as a toxic chemical on its Community Right-to-Know list. Ammonia ranks among the highest of all chemicals released into American waters.

Furniture Polish Recipe

2 Parts Olive Oil
1 Part Lemon Juice

Shake up really well. Or, if you make a large enough batch, stick it in the blender. Dab soft cloth in mixture, wipe across wood. Give it a minute or two to really soak in, and then wipe excess with clean cloth. Gorgeous wood every time!!

Sheep's wool dusters will draw dust to them with an electrostatic charge - available from Lismore Sheep Farm, River John, NS, http://www.lismoresheepfarmwoolshop.com/.

Commercial furniture polish and sprays contain silicone oil. Silicone oil can penetrate tiny cracks in furniture finish and enter the wood, causing permanent damage to the wood, resulting in refinishing being needed.

Commercial Furniture Polish Toxicity:
Naphtha, diglycol laurate, amyl acetate, and mineral spirits are neurotoxins and central nervous system depressants, which can cause confusion, headaches, lack of concentration, and symptoms of mental illness. Diglycol laurate can also be a liver and kidney poison. Mineral spirits can cause upper respiratory tract irritation and can contain impurities including the carcinogen benzene, or nitrobenzene. Nitrobenzene can cause skin discoloration, shallow breathing, vomiting, and death; associated with cancer and birth defects.

All Purpose Cleaner

This is the Vinegar/Water rule:

1 Cup Vinegar
1/4 Cup Baking Soda
1 Gallon Hot Water

Mop bucket or store in a spray bottle.

I swear it's that easy. The vinegar, even diluted with water, is very effective against grease, mildew, odors, stains, wax, soap scum. The baking soda scours, cleans, deodorizes. No, your house won't smell like vinegar all day. The smell dissapates very quickly. I love to use essential oils though, so rarely does my cleaning solution smell like vinegar. Add one of the following essential oils if you wish:

Peppermint Oil: Bugs and mice hate it. 10 Drops
Tea Tree Oil: Absolute strongest proven antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral on earth. 10 drops.
Orange Oil: Cuts through the greasiest, grimiest floors. 10 drops
Lemon Juice: All the benefits of vinegar, plus a fresh scent. 1/2 cup

It's that easy and inexpensive to NOT kill your lungs and brain.

VINEGAR

So far, I've gotten a lot of positive feedback about natural home cleaning recipes. Before I post any, I think it's important to first understand why the main ingredient in these recipes work. And work as well, even BETTER than the chemicals you can buy in the store. Vinegar (white, cider, balsamic, etc.) carries a property that makes it an extremely efficient antiviral and antibacterial. A pH (potential hydrogen) of about 2.4. Pure water has a pH of 7 and is neutral. Thus making vinegar a strong "acid". Almost no living organism can maintain life below a pH of 3. Numerous sources show that a straight 5 percent solution of vinegar—the same as what you have in your kitchen—kills 99% of bacteria, 82% of mold, and 80% of germs (viruses).

Why don't you see this advertised on your bottle of vinegar? Because vinegar companies can't make this claim on their packaging until the company registers it as a pesticide with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Some references state lemon juice carrying a pH of 2.4 also - and another reference states 2.2. However, I prefer vinegar since it leaves absolutely no residue.

Below is a link to the National Institute of Health, on a study done to test the effectiveness of vinegar against E. Coli.

I haven't listed vinegar's best property yet though. IT'S SAFE. It doesn't hurt my toddler if he happens to open the cupboard and drink it. It doesn't poison the ground water that is the source of life for every living creature around me. It doesn't alter my DNA. It doesn't shred my lungs and burn my eyes.
